All components predating X4 currently lack an active maintainer. They are feature-frozen and will accept security patches only.
All pre-X4 components are feature-frozen. We accept only patches that add no features and preserve existing semantics.
If you wish to maintain a legacy version, please contact the [Boost developers' mailing list](https://lists.boost.org/).
Such patches will be handled by the current maintainers. We are not accepting volunteers as *full* maintainers of legacy versions to avoid community fragmentation. Thank you for your understanding.
