d6bea29bce Rename value_semantic_codecvt_helper::parse to xparse, to avoid warnings 
about overloading vs. overriding. The warning is wrong, but both gcc and
Comeau emit it.

3c8fa25d29 Another environment fix for Darwin. Apparently, initialization of 'envrion' 
as global variable does not work right. Make 'environ' a macro, calling the
